"I was just looking for a simple small room with one queen bed. I didn't need extras because we were just planning on sleeping one night and leaving early. I don't like heights so they accommodated me with a second floor room. They were awesome. The only thing that I didn't like was the cost of using the valet service. We had them park our car when we arrived to check in and bring it out to us when we checked out. It would be nice if they charged according to how many times you used the services."

"Stayed for the evening to see Hamilton. The hotel was clean and modern. Room was spacious with nice layout, about what we expected. Very disappointed with cocktail bar. The "bartender" took 10 minutes to take our order then an additional 10 minutes researching online how to make martini and gimlet cocktails that were ALREADY on the menu! The burger we shared as a snack before the musical and the breakfast buffet food were average at best. Expected more from Hyatt Hotel in Chicago Theater District with all the competition. "

"Hotel is in a perfect spot if you want to be in the middle of everything. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was fantastic! I didn't expect much but they have gone beyond what some hotels provide. Staff was great from check-in to check-out. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family"

"Our room was uncomfortably warm. They explained that the hotel is old and they put either the air conditioner on or the heat on in the hotel and since it was going to be cool the next day they had turned the heat on to begin heating the hotel for the next day. They did give us a fan and opened the windows for us. It was difficult to sleep due to the warm temperature. Also our room did not lock from the outside. The door could be opened by simply pushing it open. It made us very nervous to leave our things in the room unattended. Someone did come to help us close and lock the door before we went to bed. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake and grant park."

"Parking can be a bit tricky. There are a few paid(meter) spots in front of the property and it’s much cheaper. Staff told us Sunday’s are free and when we checked out the meter maid was approaching our vehicle. Dodged the ticket but good place overall. Would stay again "

"Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable of area. Hotel was perfectly clean and right in down town next to river so everything was walking distance. Great price "
