「The hotel met my basic needs: a hot shower, working heating and air conditioning, firm bed, clean towels and sheets, a TV that worked, and a mini fridge for my meds. Any additional amenities that other hotels offer are a waste of good money. I choose to spend that money on dining and attractions.」

「The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and good. I also want to call out the staff for their kindness. This trip came up quickly because of a family funeral. We booked in a hurry. We had to reschedule some other commitments. Being a distracted, I accidentally booked the wrong date for our 1-night stay. When we checked in, they credited what we paid for the night we booked (and no-showed) to the night we actually wanted.
