「Paul and Sophie were the consumate hosts. Attentive without being over bearing. The property is in first class order with everything you could need for a perfect quiet stay. The breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked to order every day. As we have family in the area, we have always struggled to find good accommodation but Lynedene ticked all the boxes!! 「A lovely location to stay for a few days walking. Owners and staff welcoming and friendly, good food, breakfast & evening, good service. Shepherds huts are clean, warm & cosy. Within good distance for both Chatsworth House & Bakewell also good walks from the inn. I had a very pleasant stay, thank you to the staff.」

「Stayed 2 nights in Feb. Very comfortable bed and well presented room. The Inn itself was quiet and so lacked a little atmosphere but then it was mid-week. The food was excellent, I especially liked the salmon and the mushroom risotto was splendid. We would have eaten there again on the second night but the vegetarian options were limited. I'm sure the chef would have come up with something suitable but we wanted to explore other eating options locally anyway. Breakfast was plentiful and the bar...
