The Manor House hotel is located in the centre of Dronfield, in itself a fascinating ex steel town. The hotel has a long history and has been well maintained. My room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was also clean and well looked after. Breakfast was of a very good standard. Staff were attentive at all times. I was very pleased to stay at the Manor House hotel.

It was a really nice hotel apart from the noise. They have music playing in the bar until gone midnight and it was very loud. Strangely it wasn't too bad in the living area but the bedroom area was awful so we slept really badly. We also had people talking loudly below our window and car horns tooting. Apparently some of the other rooms were ok but they are all doubles and we needed either a king size bed or a twin so the room we were in was our only choice.

The property generally was very good Staff were very considerate. The problem was that to access the accommodation was only by scaling a flight of stone steps from the car park 13 steps and then to access any of the rooms on the next floor another flight of steep steps had to be negotiated. All of this makes it very unsuitable for any with disabilities. This should be made clear when looking to book accommodation

Great vibe. Our Small room we think is more suitable to solo traveller, but we made do for 1 night. Mattress not comfortable. Room a bit tired too. Toilet seat loose. Overall very clean. Nice bar and restaurant. Pricey for what we got. Thankfully booked via Hotel.com and got good discount. Have stayed before in bigger room which was overall better value for money. Family in Dronfield so will use again.

Lovely room and atmosphere. Very comfortable bed and great vegetarian breakfast offering. What a nice place. Only issue was a cold shower (it took a very long time to find any warmth) and that it didn't drain very well. Otherwise, a very nice stay, thank you.

The room windows let in a draft, the pillows were rock hard and the shower was leaking. Can all be fixed with some effort making the stay more enjoyable. The breakfast is very good with lots of choices and large portions.

Would have given a 5 star review but unfortunately neither me or my wife could have a shower, water would only come out at super hot no matter how I tried to ad cold it just stayed boiling hot. Both had to wash in the sink as a consequence. We were in room 6
