"Not only was the property clean, easy to locate, walkable and quiet but the lady who runs the hotel is an absolute sweetheart. The breakfast she made us was better than a lot of the food I was eating at restaurants. I would recommend this stay to anyone. "

"This was a great place to stay. Having a private bathing time in the onsen was so great. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. It was the perfect location for access to historical sites. There was a lot of great shopping nearby as well."

"Great adventure, kids liked it. Room is not perfect, and best for 2-3 people though 4-5 can sleep. We had a good stay. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, 5 stars for them. "

"A simple and dependable business hotel. The staff were very friendly and even let me check in a bit early, which I appreciated. The room was clean, though the air felt a little stale when I first arrived. Breakfast is straightforward and gets the job done, and the small public baths were a nice way to relax. The location is very convenient, with plenty of dining options and useful shops close by. Overall, a clean, friendly, and reliable place for a short stay."

"Namba Oriental Hotel was outstanding! They really take care of their guests. When we were preparing to leave, we had no issues. Their customer service was excellent! We will be back again. "
"The staff are pleasant and helpful. I like all their food for breakfast. When I arrive earlier than expected there is a locker in the basement you can store your luggage.
The location is close to stores, supermarket, Daiso and walkable to Namba station, Dontonbori and Ocat. I is a busy area. There is also a Lawson store close by."
"Hotel is located right above the Kitahama metro station, so it's very convenient for travel down to Dotonburi and it's linked lines. My room was very clean and the soundproofing must be great, because I'm a light sleeper and I heard no noise on either night I stayed here."
"We booked the hotel without knowing it’s a five star hotel. It meets all the standards for a five star hotel - from staff, service, amenities to quality of bakery. We didn’t eat at any of their restaurants because there are many less expensive options near the hotel. Unlike the hotels in Osaka city center at similar price, our room is large and has a beautiful view of Osaka Jo Hall, the Osaka Castle and the big park around it. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again. "
"Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location is great and near entrances to the train station. There are underground shopping/restaurants near the hotel which can connect to Osaka station. I was confused walking through it but followed signs for "JR" and eventually found my way to Osaka station. The indoor onsen (spa) is open from 6am-midnight which was great after a long day of walking. A Lawson convenience store and pharmacy is located on the ground floor of the hotel. One potential con is the hotel is positioned right on a main street which means you can probably hear car noises or general noise pollution from your room. "
"My wife and i had to book a room here due to a passport going missing while visiting a local attraction. The staff understood how stressful the situation was and went above and beyond to try to assist us. They even provided hot cookies to calm our nerves. Special thanks to Minami Tamai and Ayumi for taking care of our needs. We ended up finding our passport but again, the staff was absolutely great. Thanks again Minami and Ayumi!!"
