"It was a beautiful place. Very crowded though. Check in was horrible, long lines. We you were done checking in, you were sent over to the next deck where they were trying to get you to sign up for a timeshare presentation. I was not int. Just wanted to get away with family for a couple of days"

"We were initially wary due to some of the negative reviews, however, I am glad to say that our experience was the completely opposite! We had an amazing time! Our room was clean and the paint and furniture were neither damaged nor worn. The air conditioner worked well, was fully adjustable, and wasn't overly noisy. The pools were clean, trash cans appeared to be emptied regularly, and fresh towels were always in abundance. The beach was never really crowded at any time, but did have just the right amount of other kids for my kids to play with and they also loved the cute beach-cats as well. The other guests and hotel staff were friendly, polite, and cordial. The view from our oceanfront room was fantastic! Will definitely be staying here again!"

"I've been coming back to Myrtle Beach since my Honeymoon in 1995 a lot has changed,motels that closed , restaurants no longer there.In 2014 I started coming back ,then every year after .This year we chose to stay at Tropical Seas ,First time captured Moments say a lot. Front desk attendants were ok ,not very informative ,I found myself asking were can I get the WiFi after going back down to ask ,There were 2 Young Ladies who checked me in because I Reserved 3 Rooms ,So they took turns in the computer checking me inn ,then had me looking for my Credit card , because the one young Lady had Dropped my card , Imagine me not having my Credit card! After asking for the WiFi ,the other young lady was now finishing up a customer & kindly told her Where the WiFi was ,It was so Obvious Why they were polite to that customer We had an issue with the air conditioner in one of the rooms ,it never cooled off ,but my daughter was offered another room alike . Overall ,My room was just fine ,no issues with getting Towels from Housekeeping, the place was clean .What I really loved is that the pool has easy access ,never a Crown ,no holding chairs with your Towel .The pool was cleaned daily .I would go back again , Suggestion,the front desk ladies could use some customer service skills Training .Like saying Hello or Good morning to their Guests,"

"The location is wonderful, great atmosphere. The only thing I didn’t appreciate on this trip was the rules of the County and has nothing to do with Holiday Inn. The Lifeguards are horrible, it seems as if they are more concerned with everything else but people in the water. Here’s an example, it started thundering and lightning around us, no rain. What do the lifeguards do? They start putting up life jackets and the jet skis BEFORE THEY PUT UP THE RED FLAG AND ORDERED PEOPLE TO GET OUT. I understand they got a job to do and they need a clear view (umbrella mandate and staying behind the line) but their first instinct in a storm was jet skis and LifeJackets? That tells me that they’re more concerned with what keeps money flowing instead of souls. LACK’S IS 👎"
