"Just what I needed - quiet, clean, comfortable"

"The breakfast food was spot on Fresh tomatoes ,fresh mushrooms, Eggs cooked just as i asked soft yoke, a perfect selection of sundries, The evening meal, was excellent, with a very varied menu to suit all tastes, The Irish coffee i asked for was very bitter, so much so i actually could not taste the whiskey. Another major downside was the tedious matter of having to que up at the bar to order food, , Table service ordering has been stopped, I found this bizarre for a hotel to adopt this procedure, you would expect this at a travelodge NOT a hotel, they are really letting themselves down with this,, The beds are super comfortable, and pillows are also good, Clean & comfortable with lovely staff, I really hope they address the food ordering issue out so normal service can be resumed, apart from that i would be happy to recommend this hotel. "

"A canny location for getting out and about and reasonably priced. However the spa facilities it turned aren't included in the price and are in sessions, £20 for 3 hours, which I guess is quite reasonable, however not if you just wanted to have an hour for a quick relax in the hot tub or a swim before going out to tea etc, which was the reason for my booking this hotel. Not did I appreciate the 9am door knocking along every room in the corridor on bank holiday Monday from "housekeeping". The hotel rooms are dated but clean and functional and the bar/restaurant has a modern feel."

"There is no air conditioning. There were rats making sound biting through some board. There was loud noises of people running as I was given a room in the basement. Hardly used for 10 hours after booking the place for 2 days and no one would bother about the issue when raised. Only convenience is it's close to the train station and place of my work "
