"Fantastic stay"

"My room was pretty with a garden view, the staff was pretty good except for times receiving wrong information from different staff members pertaining to checkout and meeting Amstar transportation rep. The food was horrible I would rate it 3/10 the food was cold at both buffet restaurants. "

"At check-in, we were told that we were getting an upgrade at no extra charge, to be on the lower level and closer to beach and restaurants. The lower level and being closer to beach and restaurants was appreciated. Room was nice and comfortable. Only disappointment was view from balcony, was no garden or ocean view. View was of the back of the property. Below balcony was a hedge, lawn was well kept but then a paved path where the property service vehicles brought supplies back and forth along a chain linked fence. On the other side of the fence was a marshy area and then an open field that the back of other apartment like buildings backed onto. It was nice to have a balcony but was not much of a view to look at. "

" I was in a Diamond Club swim out room. I must say Wil our butler was GREAT! In my ratings I put staff at good but I didn't mean Wil. I was here 2 yrs ago and I must say the quality of food has gone down except for the sushi restaurant. bacon and burgers undercooked, steaks chewy, scramble eggs looking like rice, I wasn't a fan. I did LOVE the massage, kudos to Sam"

"Great kid centric resort. Pros: Amazing facilities, clean rooms, great kids programming and a host of Nickelodeon themed features scattered through the resort. Neutral: Mediocre service. The buffet. Cons: Food at the "a-la-carte" restaurants. "

"The resort although a bit dated in some respects was very beautiful and well maintained. The pool was gorgeous and so inviting. The beach was kept clean and was very enjoyable. The check-in staff wasn't the best experience. She was not very friendly at all and didn't assist us with wifi etc. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful but a handful not so much. One big issue is that at both the beach and pool area there are not enough chairs. We had a swim up room and people continued to take our chairs that were part of the reason we booked the room. The food was okay. Some meals were better than others such as Bella and the Japanese restaurants were very good."
