"We were obsessed with this hotel. It was so pretty and eclectic inside, great art and decor in the rooms. Staff was so nice and the breakfast was to die for. We did a very impromptu whisky tasting and learned a lot- it was better than the whisky tour we did earlier in the week. We were sad to go and can’t wait to visit again! "

"This was a wonderful space to stay for our trip to Edinburgh. Walkable to key tourist attractions yet very quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were wonderful. Would certainly recommend for anyone exploring the city."
"The rooms were great. The balcony and views were breathtaking. The hotel restaurant was phenomenal. The location was an easy in & out for both city walking and driving to the highlands. Highly recommend!"
"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, the room was immaculate. Every aspect was great quality with so many extra touches, like the steamer and iron. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Edinburgh. "
Holiday Inn Express - Edinburgh City Centre by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The room could be bigger. Especially when 2 occupants. The included breakfast a big plus. 24 hour facility for coffee and tea a big plus. Keep that going. Ideal location. Would stay again "
"Legit built out of an old prison so so cool in there! The staff was so helpful and the coffee and restaurant was yummy! Also. . . You really can’t beat the location. Right behind st Giles? Come on"
"Room was spacious and bed comfortable.
The shower / toilet and vanity arrangement was unusual in that the vanity area was open .
Note there are no coffee facilities in the room."
"Everything we needed was covered. The staff were very friendly, the room was comfy and well equipped. The en-suit was spotless, and the use of a kitchen downstairs was ideal. There was no shortage of complimentary snacks and drinks. Check in and check out was swift, and having parking on location was ideal. It was well connected to Edinburgh, with a tram stop near by, and plenty of local amenities. Would absolutely stay here again!"
