"First, there was a $250 deposit, which was more than expected for a 2 night stay. It was returned within 48 hours of checkout. The staff was nice. The room had cheap wicker furniture and beds were more like cots. The upstairs room we were in had a huge roof slant and had to duck to use the bathroom and sleep with my head towards the headboard to fit. "We booked 2 rooms last minute and they put us beside one another! My family and I set up a cook stove on the beach and stayed out till midnight with no issues. The rooms were clean and spacious with a comfortable couch at the end by the balcony. The parking garage is a little tight but had a helpful security guard. Breakfast was delicious with an extra room for larger groups. Staff were friendly and communicated timelines effectively. They filled up our cooler upon check out and gave us till 3pm to get back onto the property and retrieve our car by means of an extra key!"

"First off the staff is fantastic. Everyone was kind and friendly and I can’t say enough nice things about them. When you walk into the lobby, you may question whether it was the right hotel for you. It definitely needs updating. It looks like an office building with everybod’s stuff everywhere. However the room was solid - plenty of room for all of us. And proximity to the beach and local food and stores is really good. We stayed during a holiday weekend and paid premium for a room. It’s definitely not a high end hotel but for its proximity to the beach and the super girl pro contest it could not be beat. Again staff was super helpful with any and all concerns I had. A+ for them! Management just needs to update some things and it would be stellar. The major con was parking: plenty of spots but I would not want to park a truck there. Small car is really the only car that can fit with room on both sides to open doors."
