「Front desk staff ( Caroine) were pleasant, professional and helpful. Overall, this property offers the business/ casual travellers a great location in downtown Norfolk with easy access to waterfront activities, nearby parking, convention spaces, a terrace pool, and limited dining but with better choices nearby. Loss of MacArthur Mall is a significant blow to the downtown vibrancy. And time has exacted its toll on the property which needs cosmetic attention in virtually all areas.」

「There was an amazing amount of beverages and snack items available near the front desk. Anything from cold sodas and water to wine and beer could be purchased. The breakfast was fine. There were pancakes, toast, bagels, and premade omelets and bacon. Not a lot of choices but enough to start your day. I’d stay here again because of close proximity to Norfolk airport.」

「They need to work on the parking. When returning from an event, I had to wait close to an hour for the valet to get to me because he was the only one on shift and had to move several cars to get our car in. His name is Alex so I end up getting in my room late from the event, but everything else worked out well.」
