「We checked in after 10pm - we were basically there to sleep and eat. They overbooked our room type, and the 6 of us were forced into a room for 4. I called the hotel after the trip and they offered us some compensation for the inconvenience. The ground floor is a parking garage - you have to take an elevator to the second floor to reach the lobby. The lobby was full of a children's group and their parents - pretty loud for that time of night. I felt bad for guests on that main floor. The room...

「We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The bed had one of the most comfortable mattresses we’ve ever slept on and we enjoyed being able to walk to the coffee shop down the street, as well as the easy access to the art district, and the parking garage connected to the hotel. We named the upstairs tenant “Thunderfoot” because whoever was up there was either extremely heavy footed or the floor was extremely thin. 「The shower drain was very slow to drain, patched holes left unpainted in the room, and the hot tub was listed as an amenity but was roped off and unable to use. The property was convenient to downtown Asheville and the 2 bedroom suite was a great layout.」
