"This was our first time staying at Placemakr. We absolutely loved the location! Walking distance to the Tin Building, the Waterfront, Brooklyn Bridge, City Acres market, Duane Reade, and plenty of great places to eat. Check in was quick and easy. We requested a lower level floor due to my husband’s fear of heights and they accommodated us. The gym was on the same floor as our room (the 7th floor). "For New York the hotel was a good deal better than we expected. The room was large, clean and given that NY never sleeps it was reasonably quiet. Yes the decor was a little tired but still very much to a reasonable standard. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The idea of the destination fee of $40 per day should be dropped and added to the standard charge. Then give the $15 as a bonus per day to spend in the shop. Many thanks for a great stay "
