"This is an amazing gem of a hotel. It is extremely chic. The staff are so friendly and the food and booze are next level. Not for kids this is really a couples hotel. "
"Definitely accommodation suited for holiday makers with a car. Facilities were immaculate. Limited dining options but able to walk 6-7 minute to train station to Hakone for dinner. Bus 4-5 minutes. "
"This is a beautiful condo. There was everything we needed to be comfortable. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The onsen was amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend "
"The amenities and rooms were very clean, staff were all very friendly and helpful. The overall ambience gave a traditional Japanese vibe but with a modern touch."
"The Fujiya Hotel is a historic gem in an unforgettable setting, with a staff that is extremely friendly, competent and professional. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience with a beautiful onsite onsen, and easy access to all the best that Hakone has to offer. Definitely one of my all-time favourite travel experiences!"
"We had the most amazing and elaborate Japanese set dinner and breakfast. Hotel staff were attentive and the garden path was lovely however the property could be better maintained specially given the price charged. "

"Recommend this property. I stayed in a riverside room. The private onsen was perfect and hearing the river water flow was very relaxing, plus the river colors are surreal. The breakfast buffet had lots of options between western and Japanese cuisine. "
"Hotel is gorgeous and such a great experience. The Onsen is great, not too crowded. In room onsen/outdoor bath was a fantastic addition and really made it feel exclusive. Expensive, but the included meals are a whole experience in themselves and worth the extra cost. A great way to experience the area. Check out the outdoor sculpture park nearby."
"The place felt like a dream! From the outfit you wear throughout your stay to the hot springs outside that made you feel free. The staff was incredibly friendly and I’d recommend it for anyone."

"Amazing Japanese hospitality experience I ever had.
I have been to many different hotels in Japan and this is one of the best hotel I ever had.
The Japanese Traditional Breakfast was outstanding as well.
We will definitely come back again for special occasions.
Thank you very much!
