We enjoyed the Japanese dinner (cooking part of our meal on the individual hot plates was different and fun) and breakfast. We liked having a choice of using indoor and outdoor onsen. "This was a great location to enjoy the Hakone region. The rooms have a beautiful view of the tree covered hills (really wonderful with the fall colors). The food was really good and all the various hot spring options were fun. Need to go more than one day to see it all. Definitely worth the trip."

Shrouded in beautiful Autumn foliage and appointed with traditional Japanese accommodations (slippers specific to the toilet room, main room and patio each), it felt like quiet, authentic luxury. The breakfast is vast with Japanese options and sufficient western options like fruits, breads and meats."
