"The room was clean & advertised correctly in the listing. We did have a beach view. It is an older building & we did have issues with water draining in the shower. They had a plunger in the room so we were able to take care of the issue when it did occur. The property is family friendly with 10 pools, small bowling alley & arcade, however it does sit among several ran down & closed properties & is not walking distance to any attractions. Would not walk the area at night. The staff was friendly & helpful. Also we had to eat out or DoorDash dinner as there was nowhere for a sit down dinner on the property. "

"Great oceanfront view and the staff were helpful and kind. The room is a little outdated, but it was clean. I do think it could use a full deep clean. Housekeeping came by and gave plenty of towels daily. Everything worked like it should, the pool/lazy river and bar were great. We didn’t get a chance to eat the food on site due to it being too busy (get there early). The water temperature and pressure were perfect for it to be such a large hotel. The a/c in the room also was very cold and kept up with the warmth/humidity when the balcony door was open. Depending on what room you have the noise level at night may be too loud for some since the live music goes until 11pm - we were in the middle tower and couldn’t hear anything from inside. Not sure why this place has bad reviews talking about filth, bugs and being unsafe - I say try it out for yourself because we didn’t see any of that. It’s a very budget friendly place to stay for a few days."

"Beautiful view from balcony, room was fairly clean however carpet going from antique elevator to room was old and filthy. Was never vacuumed once during the week long stay. Location was wonderful. Getting ice from communal ice chest behind the front desk was unappealing. The food at the restaurant on premise was wonderful with excellent service!"

"Overall, we had a great stay. Check-in was quick, easy, and efficient, and our room was clean when we arrived. The beach was the highlight it's right outside the door, making it incredibly convenient. The only downside was housekeeping. They only came once a day, and it was often at inconvenient times when we were in the room, so we frequently missed service. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and loved the easy beach access."
