"Breakfast is a joke"

"Hotel stay was great, but the random hidden charges were ridiculous. "Complimentary" wifi was $13 per day, parking was $50 per day, continental breakfast was easy to confuse with the hot bar and resulted in a $12 charge, and then they tacked on $8.25 a day after checkout for a local ordinance that should have been included in the price. Be prepared to pay an extra $100 per night after "all fees included.""

"The most gorgeous hotel. The grounds are so beautiful, and everything is so central and convienent. My daughter loved the pool and movie nights. The room was lovely. Shuttle to universal was always ontime, and only about 5-7 minutes journey. Staff were all great. The only thing I wish was different is that there were a few more vegetarian options in the buffet and main restaurant. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend to anyone. "

"My sister and I attended the Nutcracker ballet across the street at the Dolby Theatre, which is the reason we spent the night of the Roosevelt. What a lovely treat to have this much Hollywood in one 24 hour. We were kindly given a bit of a tour of the place so we knew where all the famous hotspots were and the rooms could not be more comfortable. Just a great day thank you!"

"Neighborhood needs a refresh. We typically stay at Sofitel and chose this one due to central location to other LA areas. However the surrounding area was less “vibrant”than we expected and had to walk a mile or so to get to an area with shops, restaurants, etc. (Although there was a dated indoor mall across the street.) The staff was friendly, room was clean and beds were comfy. Pool was closed for repairs, so that was disappointing. "
