「Lovely room, friendly staff, fabulous breakfast and great location 」

「We stayed there for 5 nights with our 2 teen girls joining over the weekend. Everything was really good: the hospitality, the room and bedding, breakfast, local restaurant guide and even the flush at the toilet. Parking was an issue after 8pm as usually all the closest parking lots would be full.」

「Great location directly across the road from the beach and close to areas of interest (Seven Sisters, Lewes, Battle) We enjoyed our spacious clean room with high ceilings and doors opening to the balcony to let in the sea breeze / fresh air. Friendly staff. Pleasant stay!」

「We knowingly booked a small room. The room itself was clean and decent enough. It was an extremely hot day so could have done with A/C or at least a better fan than that provided. The bathroom was too tiny to be practical. There was no shelf in the tiny shower and there was not enough room to bend down and pick shower gel off the floor. Overall the price was very reasonable so we were not expecting the world. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.」

「We stayed in a family room which was clean and close to the beach, with some restaurants around. There is no USB socket in the room so need to bring your own sockets to charge your phones and devices. Pillows are too soft. Breakfast was included, with cold and cooked buffet for selection.」

「Location is perfect for the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Parking is horendous. The lift didn't work when we visited, which was not ideal for 4 people with health and mobility issues, we were on the 2nd floor. The staires are quite rickety and winding. There wasn't air conditioning, but they did provide a fan. Our toilet seat was broken, we did report it, but was told it was a bank holiday weekend so nothing could be done. 「The staff were friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The food and drink prices are good. The food is excellent. The only downside was there were no fans in the rooms. The windows opened, due to the heat there was no cool air.」
