Everything about our stay was exceptional! From the friendly and helpful staff, to the lovely rooms with small touches to give it character, to the wonderful breakfasts in the morning, to the location, we loved every bit of it! Would highly recommend!

Very convenient for Congress Centre, restaurants and shopping. Parking on-site was a main reason for booking also breakfast included. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The welcome was very warm and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Welcoming and feels good to return

The team at The Sheldon always greet you with such friendliness and as a returning guest, it's a home from home. Rooms are comfortable with everything you need and breakfast is always amazing with a good selection of hot and cold options.

If I could rate it higher stars I would!! This is a fantastic place. The owner Steve was great - very helpful and accommodating. There were many breakfast options and the food was good. The decor in the building is very artsy and gorgeous. I got a good vibe from the place as soon as I walked in - very welcoming. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Eastbourne boardwalk and 5-10 minute walk into town. Good location. I would stay here again when in Eastbourne.

The hosts were very welcoming and we had an enjoyable time. It was good to have an allocated parking area off the street, the breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and we were made to feel at home. My only slight criticism was that my second-floor room's shower pressure was rather feeble - perhaps affected by the altitude! I will certainly consider staying here again if I return to Eastbourne.

Would love to stay again in the near future

Warm welcome with cuddles from CK (owners dog) on arrival. Room wonderful odd creek but the age of the building you expect that. Breakfast was wonderful cooked to order and a choice of milk for tea and coffee plus a range of teas.

Excellent value for money , nice clean rooms and good facilities . Breakfast was nice and staff friendly . Would stay again if in Eastbourne . Owners are obviously trying very hard to provide the best possible experience at a reasonable price and are succeeding .
