Well located, in a quiet largely residential area a two minute walk to beach and promenades, and a few steps from the Theatre, the Towner art gallery and Devonshire Park Tennis club. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are three lounges and a lift, but only to the 2nd floor of 3. My room was very large, fairly well equipped and furnished. The bed was comfortable. Reasonably priced for a typical 3-star hotel

Had a great stay, staff really friendly and helpful room was nice and perfect for me as a solo guest. Furniture a little worn an dated and the toilet seat was quite stained and broken (the underside support bung one side of the seat). However these are quick fixes and didn't detract from the great stay i had so much so i decided to stay an extra night. Car parking was really useful and a great selection of food for breakfast and especially cooked fresh just for you. Yes its an older building but has character and the great staff throughout made my stay worthwhile. I will definitely be coming back thanks. l

Very disappointed with this hotel. The decor is very dated, the carpets on the stairs are thread bare, the furniture old and the wallpaper was peeling off in our suite. The location was great for the tennis and the car park useful

Was there for the tennis. Unfortunately the hottest day of the year and the minus of a fan and air con was a shortfall. Staff very friendly. Hotel is an old building so don’t go if you like a modern facility. Location was amazing for the tennis.

My room was amazing value for money. It was spacious, clean, full of everything that I needed and the staff made it all so easy. The car park was so convenient and the walk to both the sea front and the town was very quick and easy.
