"I was very disappointed with my experience at this Comfort Inn. I try to stay positive, especially when traveling with my six-year-old son, but unfortunately there were several issues that made this stay far below expectations. Communication with the front desk was extremely difficult. The same staff member appeared to be working most of the shifts, and it was very hard to communicate basic questions or concerns. One of the amenities we were looking forward to was the hot tub that is advertised with the pool area. However, when we went to use the pool, we noticed the hot tub was completely covered with a platform built over it and clearly not operational. The pool itself also appeared very dirty, and after spending time in that area my son and I both started feeling sick. Another disappointing moment happened with breakfast. After driving nearly 10 hours the day before, my son and I slept in a bit. We came downstairs at 9:33 AM—just three minutes after breakfast ended at 9:30—and were told we could not have anything at all, not even cereal. While I understand policies, a little flexibility or kindness toward a tired parent and child would have gone a long way. Throughout the stay I did my best to keep the experience positive for my son. He noticed some of the issues around the hotel, and I didn’t want him to have a negative travel experience, so we spent most of our time away from the hotel. I travel to visit my kids and often just need a place to stay for a few nights "

"The room was not ready. Coffee spill on the floor in the lobby ignored. Wall tiles missing from the lobby wall in sitting area. The room had multiple paint gouges/scratches. No chair, no iron, no bedside lamps. "

"I was over charged room stunk. Fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling. No sound proofing at all. You could here everything. Didn't sleep at all"

"For the price i shouldn't have expected much, the room smelt of old cigarette smoke. The ceiling in the bathroom by the toilet/shower was literally black in places cracked and looked like it could fall in at any moment. Be prepared to hear other guest at every hour of the night as if they are in the room with you. Staff was friendly we didnt know there was a 50.00 per person cash only deposit needed when we checked in and thankful the front desk guy waved it. So we didnt have to pay the ATM withdrawal fee. Overall for the price you shouldnt expect much more then what you are getting. Thankfully the bed was decent and the sheets were clean. "
