"We were so sorry we had to stay here. We couldn't even get into the door of the room. A staff member had to use their shoulder to push it open. She said let her know if any issues cause a maid told her she didn't do everything she was supposed to. Once you walked in the room, it made such loud sticky sounds everytime you walked on it. The comforter had dark yellow stains underneath of the top. There was no soap or shampoo at all. It smelled terrible. We were so disappointed we had to stay here & we'll never stay at a red roof in again!"

"Clean room, friendly staff, easy parking, breakfast was the typical free hotel breakfast, neither great nor terrible. Great location half-way between downtown and beaches at Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. "

"AC unit whistled; had to kick bottom of outside door to open; bathroom door did not shut; check-in clerk was less than friendly; breakfast was marginal, scrambled eggs were watery. Cleaning staff was friendly; parking was fine; location was quiet and good for attending wedding at Gold Bug Destination. "

"Beautiful hotel with great staff! The pools were great (close at 9 pm. I wish they stayed open later). The hotel bar was closed for different private events each of the 3 nights we stayed which was disappointing. Overall, it was a great hotel, great location, friendly staff, and great amenities. "
