「Spa facilities poorly maintained wood splitting in sauna, no steam room very small pool and small dirty changing facilities. Inadequate gym facilities literally 1 treadmill Old dirty carpet and room smelled old. Tv was inadequate old 1st generation TV. Terrible WiFi signal Reception staff friendly but catering staff not. No food available after 9.30pm no amenities or facilities around to overcome this. Would not recommend staying unless just going to specifically play golf」

「I was at the lower floor room right under the corridor, other hotel guests walking were very noisy. Other than this, the stay was brilliant」

「The hotel is old but very nicely maintained and uniquely decorated; great food in the bar/restaurant, though a bit pricey for a very small community like this. Staff are helpful as well.」

「Very comfortable and clean room, helpful staff and within walking distance to the town.」

「Lovely rooms with streaming in the tv Nespresso coffee always a plus. Usual amenities, good food offer & reasonably priced. Highly recommend, lovely area with a local village store & post office which is great」

「Very friendly staff, evening meal and breakfast done to a high quality. Everything you need in the rooms including hairdryer」

「The staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. I did not eat at the hotel so can not comment on the food. It is a very old hotel located in an excellent area. The car park is only a two minute walk from the hotel and easy to find (I phoned prior to my arrival and was given excellent directions by a friendly member of staff). The hotel is definitely in need of a refurbishment but this did not detract from my stay. I would certainly stay again.」

「Fantastic place to stay next door to the Sissinghurst Castle Gardens. Friendly and beautiful. We will definitely return」

「best hotel in the area, very well maintained and newly renovated. will come again! food was lovely」
