"Beautiful old house that is decorated appropriately. Enjoyed our stay. The property caretakers were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent. If we ever return to Dubuque, we would definitely stay there again."

"I found the surroundings rather unique.The hotel is nestled in a ravine So it felt secluded even though it was right along route twenty (Dodge avenue). I appreciated that we had a free breakfast, even though it was just a cold breakfast, I was disappointed because I was looking forward to some waffles. Front desk was very pleasant & accommodating. The only aggravation that we had was 2 of the housekeeping staff having a very loud, animated conversation in front of our room in the morning which woke us up."

"We were comfortable at this property, it was clean and accommodating. There were a lot of kids staying at this property, but curfews were respected, and it was a quiet nights sleep. The breakfast was gone when we got there but they were feeding lots of baseball boys! They could have had another person helping keep up with breakfast."
