「We were very pleased with the hotel. Everything was clean. It looked very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. There was a variety to choose from. We liked the options available. There were hot items and well as cold. I would stay here again. It is close to downtown Galena. We didn't get to use the pool, we ran out of time but it looked nice. The hot tub was large. The slide looked fun. Overall a good value. I would recommend the hotel. 」

「Clean room. The hotel staff was very welcoming. They had the hotel decorated so beautifully, and it smelled so good. Will definitely be staying there again when we are in town visiting family」

「Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. 」

「The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays. Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous...
