Top Fifth Ward Park Hotel Reviews
Irish Cottage Inn & Suites
8/10 Good
"A colorful fascade that make this hotel look unique on the outside look like a Irish town. Ben, the desk attendant suggested to eat at the onsite pub which had good food."
Chestnut Mountain Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely beautiful, scenic property. I was able to check in early, the restaraunt was excellent with views that can’t be beat! I will return!"
Days Inn by Wyndham Dubuque
8/10 Good
"This is an older motel. The rooms seemed clean. Cameras all around the area."
AmericInn by Wyndham Maquoketa
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were wonderful, my room was clean, the property for the most part was pretty quiet. The pool was nice because I was the only one in it :) ample parking. The only 2 things that were an issue (not really to me but could be for someone else) was the tub didnt drain right but I was in town to hike so I wasnt really concerned about it and the vending machines were cash only and I dont carry cash, which ultimately saved me some money which I do enjoy saving money. Breakfast was a standard breakfast but good. Overall I had a great stay."
American Inn and Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Our accommodations were perfect for what we needed. After a late evening in Dyersville at the Field of Dreams, having enjoyed a baseball game, it was refreshing to arrive at this hotel. Upon entering it smelled clean which was comforting. It was tastefully decorated, very homey feeling. Our complimentary breakfast was delicious & sufficient. The staff was very helpful at all times."
Grant Hills Motel
10/10 Excellent
"The property was nice to drive into. Service was great at the front desk. I would suggest with all the humidity they have in Galena that the carpets be removed from all the rooms and replaced with plank flooring. We had to change rooms because when you walked in you could feel the humidity as soon as you walked in. We asked to change the room and we got a double bed room without carpet which made it much better. Air Conditioners need to be maintained, you could smell the mildew coming from them. We did see one roach in the bathroom coming out the baseboard. I did notify the desk clerk. Its a good stay for a short time, especially if your out all day in Galena. The rooms definitely could use dehumidifiers for the amount of humidity the rooms hold, wouldn't recommend for people with asthma. Overall a good stay. "
Hotel Julien Dubuque
10/10 Excellent
"Very cool place. I really like the ambiance (Al Capone's chosen hotel in the Dubuqe during prohibition!). Classic style. The room was very nice, quite modern with all the things you expect to have. Parking was a bit tight, but free and acceptable; used the lot across the street, Close walking distance to several shops and restaurants, and the River Museum. Very nice location."
Hotel Galena
10/10 Excellent
"What a great hotel super clean, cozy, friendly staff, and gorgeous balconies with privacy, and lush greenery surrounding the outside space. Very close to downtown shopping!"
Goldmoor Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Best weekend getaway from Chicago! Everything was perfect! Staff was very helpful!"
