"Friendly and professional staff. Room was clean. We didn't let the cleaning staff make up our room until we left (we stayed 4 nights), but they were always smiling in the hallways. Food from the cafe was good and reasonably priced. Food from Fathom was tasty (we ordered takeout). Only complaint was the indoor swimming pool. It was freezing for our young kids. We asked if there was any way to warm it up a degree or two but the staff at the pool said there was nothing they could do. It was colder than lukewarm. Hot tub and sauna were enjoyed."

"We stayed there after our flight was cancelled and the receptionist was helpful, the first room she gave us was not clean, beds were not made and the room was filthy. I went to the receptionist and she gave us a new clean room. The elevator had a "Happy Hour" menus advertising drinks and certain appetizers from 3-6:00 pm, when we cut or adventure to Granville Market short, thinking we could hit their Happy Hour. As we were reading the menu, the waitress took the Happy Hour menu and said it's not available anymore, the drinks were but not the appetizers. As we went back to our room, the menu we saw earlier was still in the elevators. I found this to be very misleading."

"We had a really nice stay overall, especially as a family trip. The pools were the highlight, and my kids had a great time. I also appreciated the adult-only pool option at night, which gave a more relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. However, the biggest issue is the condition of the rooms. They are very outdated, and for the price (over $300 per night), it doesn’t match the expectation. The furniture was old, and in some cases looked like it was being held up with cardboard, which was surprising. The carpets also didn’t feel clean, which affected the overall comfort of the room. The room itself could also feel stuffy, and there was noticeable condensation on the windows. Overall, the amenities and experience outside of the room were enjoyable, but the room quality needs improvement to justify the price. I would consider returning for the pools and location, but only if updates are made to the rooms."
