「The Maritime is accessible to many shops, restaurants and places to see. Very convenient. But – – the lobby, although elegant, for some reason has chairs and couches that are extremely low to the ground. They’re uncomfortable to sit in – – or eat breakfast in – – and they’re difficult to get out of – – especially for those of us you are a bit older. The restaurant and bar off of the lobby were closed due to renovations. When they reopen, that will be a huge improvement.」

「I tend to leave good reviews because I’m a positive person with low expectations. But this time…I’m serious. This place is EFFING amazing! I honestly hesitate to write this because I don’t want them to raise their rates. As someone who travels twice a month for work I really notice thoughtful touches. Like clear directions for the property in the room, coffee, fridge, counter space and a real usable closet. The square footage of a king room is bigger than an NYC 1 bedroom apt! And a rain shower?...

「Terrible service, noisy surroundings.** There were car horns and constant mechanical noise all night, making it impossible to sleep. Starting at 9 AM, there was loud, sharp construction noise in the building, and the cleaning staff kept slamming doors, creating even more disturbance. The accommodation conditions were very poor and we couldn’t get any rest. This was by far our worst stay ever. The hotel refused to offer any compensation or adjustment, and didn’t allow us to check out early...
