"Service so bad"

"We love the location and the view, and have stayed here many times. And their more expensive rooms are good. BUT, there are a couple rooms that seem to be reserved for guests that may appear “high risk”, like bikers or rock and roll bands, and unfortunately we got one of those last night. The AC didn’t work, no soap in the bathroom, no mini bar, tiles missing in the bathroom, some, dirt and mold, no decor whatsoever, and circus elephants stomping around upstairs early in the morning. I guess it just wasn’t our lucky night. We will stay there again but definitely avoid room 124!"

"Location excellent, small kitchenette was very useful, room fresh and clean, host staff were excellent and accommodating of our bizarre flight times and were happy to store our luggage until check-in. Rooftop terrace gives a wonderful view of the eccentric Venice Beach Boardwalk Boulevard. Danielle at reception was communicative and informative. Our little family would return here in a flash… if it wasn’t so far from Australia. "

"It was the first time I stay in a hostel, I had my reserves and as soon as I stepped into the building all of them disappeared, “Blue” in front desk was cool and smooth, clear and funny speech, cozy common areas, the bedroom was clean and perfect, the washroom was shiny, breakfast was simple but solid, accessing the building was great, location was super, I certainly will be back to “The samesun, Venice Beach” Cheers"

"Pretty bland hotel. the lobby has dining area, bar and internet desks all on one area. Pool area is very small and was being repaired. The hotel is perfectly functional and convenient for a short stay. Good location between Lincoln and Santa Monica beachfront. Our main gripe was being charged $ 61 for a room service hamburger that my wife said was not even edible !!!"
