When my mom's surgery ran longer than expected, the guy at the front desk let me check out late without hesitation. I’m definitely staying here every time I visit my mom - thanks so much!"

"The Spencer Hotel is a unique gem in a quaint lake community. I stayed 2 days and met the wonderful owners. My king sized bed was comfy and my bathroom was handpainted with forest scenery. Every room was themed in its own literary cultural way. Breakfast was homemade and delicious vs the continental food that most hotel chains would feed you. If attending an event at the Chautauqua Amphitheater, it was right outside the main front door. Short walk to the lake and beach area to watch the boats and let kids play.
