「A beautiful hotel to stay in located in the heart of West Hartford. The helpful staff and easy valet parking make any visit even more enjoyable. 「Farmington Inn is quaint and has a mature person feel. The room was older and smelled like a nursing home yet it was clean and served the purpose. There was a small laundry room fire while we were there. Luckily, I was in my room and evacuated me and my dog safely. I questioned if they would have gone in to get my dog if I were not there. That question remains unanswered. I’d stay again. It was close to the interstate and food options and some of the most beautiful walks. 」

「Needed an inexpensive overnight room and it was exactly what we needed. This hotel seems to be an older model; if you’re looking for luxury and modern things, go elsewhere. I did notice some small holes on the curtains along stains from wear and tear inside mini fridge, bathroom and light fixtures… did this ruin my trip? Absolutely not. 「Our day started by pulling into a rundown hotel with police out front arresting someone. As soon as we walked into the lobby, there was a strong foul odor that I couldn’t even identify. The entire building felt extremely humid, outdated, and poorly maintained. The front desk was hidden behind a hanging plastic barrier, making it nearly impossible to hear the staff.
