「Hotel is no frills and serves its main purpose. Our check-in experience was ok, room was clean, a/c worked and our bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking and close to supermarket. The front desk needs staff present at all times. Although there is a bell to ring for someone, upon check-in hours and later in evening, and following morning, no one is at the FRONT. Always have to ring bell and eventually someone appears. Neon paper signs taped up in lobby area is a bit tacky. Breakfast is very...

「We travel a lot for business and stay in hotels throughout the state of Maine and this hotel was by far one of the worst we have stayed at. The hotel staff was beyond unhelpful. We got into town an hour early and asked if we could check in early - they said they would charge us an additional $50 for early check in. I have never had a hotel do that. There amenities were lacking - no microwave in the room, the only tea they offered was plain lipton. Everything was the cheapest they could get away...

「The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The property was in a great location. A few things were lacking. First time that I have stayed in a motel that does not have deadbolts and or safety chains on the doors. The rooms are at street level and there were only room darkening curtains on the windows without blinds under them. So if you wanted privacy the rooms are dark. There are not a lot of electrical plugs in the room and there is very little lighting. Pricing was good for a place that...

「Nice property! No coffee in rooms so be prepared to get up, get dressed to get your coffee. Rooms have wall AC that works really well. About 1.5 miles from town if walking.」

「Pros: the view is wonderful and being able to kayak from the very pleasant lawn is so much fun. Staff were pleasant and check n was fine. Cons: Our room was damp the whole time. The ac was a loud under the window type unit often found in “not great hotels you get by the freeway”. We asked for more pillows and were told they didn’t have any. Breakfast is not great. Powered scrambled eggs and sausage with packaged muffins and cereal. It gets the job done but not really enjoyable.」
