「I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. 」

「We had a wonderful stay at Anne's House recently. The house is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and homely, and Michael and Olivia were so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we were definitely not left wanting for anything. The house is in a quiet and attractive street, a short walk from the railway station and town centre, so everything was in easy reach. All in all, I could not recommend Anne's House highly enough, and we wouldn't think twice about staying here...

As I am recovering from knee surgery, she kindly offered us a downstairs room with easier access, which made a huge difference to my comfort. 「Good onsite parking within a very short walk to Battle high street and abbey but unfortunately the abbey park grounds were closed but none the less had a lovely pre Christmas one night stay at the Chequers, the food was of good quality both evening and breakfast, staff friendly and helpful, the room spacious and mattress very comfortable but could all do with refreshing but bear in mind it is a very old Inn circa 1478 but what is really needed are blackout blinds on the windows as our room was...
