We stayed here for two nights -- and I wish I was there for a week! Beautiful boutque resort right on the water.. incredibly friendly staff, good food options -- nothing beat the view or the patio overlooking the shore. Rooms were clean, beds were incredibly comfortable.

The entire staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was so enjoyable, tasty and well presented. Our compliments to the chef and kitchen staff. We had our engagement lunch at the Cooden Beach Hotel 52 years ago and were celebrating our 51st wedding Anniversary.

Fantastic location. Lovely staff on the whole. Outside grassy area had a lot of cigarette butts which was unpleasant. Also outside seating on grass a few more options would be good. Most of the seats were really low. Will definitely be back.

The staff were all helpful, they informed us of 2 wedding’s during our stay and gave us a lovely room away from any noise, food is excellent and the position of the hotel on the beach can’t be beaten. We will definitely visit again

There was a wedding going on at the property with loud music playing to midnight! And all the parking was occupied by what I assume is wedding guests and we struggled to park near the hotel.

Great place for a short break, hotel faces quiet shingle beach and has lovely patio with windbreak. Very clean throughout hotel, good service, good food too. Bar area rather cold and impersonal. Room well equipped, although few sockets for IT needs and not conveniently positioned. Also, whilst there was a great hairdryer provided, there was only one place where you could plug it close to a mirror - and the flex was only just long enough. Made hair drying a challenge.

We had a two-night stay. I thought the half-board option was very good value, and the food was well cooked and presented. But the stand out feature was how well the staff have been trained. They really made the trip - polite and engaged and followed up on everything really quickly. I was very impressed with them.

High quality fittings and fixtures in bed and spacious bathroom. Lovely shower with clearly marked toiletries. Nice little extras (e.g. a fan and clothes brush). Neat tea/coffee making area. Double aspect in both bed and bathroom (that’s a first!). The staff and receptionist are cheerful, helpful and friendly and the location of the hotel on the beach with its gorgeous terrace is perfect. Breakfast: Eggs Benedict cooked perfectly, lovely pastries and fresh bed - plus plus. Next job is to find out how much the rooms with the balconies overlooking the sea are…. All 5 star, no minuses. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice place on the beach. Rooms adequate. Restaurant area was lovely. Included hot and small buffet breakfast was nice enough but had I paid £22 for it, I would think I’d overpaid.
