「Upon arrival, the gentleman who greeted us was extemly nice and professional. However, he didnt know wich room or area we were staying in. He asked if we were staying in the Farm house we said yes. He then began to ask if we were sure we wanted to stay in that room since it was two bedrooms and there was only two of us. (Absolutely this is what we paid for.) 「The Blue Dory Inn is a historic B&B within walking distance to the ferry and with its own beach access. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Ann and her staff were very friendly. Evening wine and snacks and breakfast made this a great deal. Would stay here again for sure.」

「Loved being able to walk to the town. But just far enough away to be quiet, which can be a problem in BI. The small bar in the Atlantic, on the same premises was friendly, quaint and the drinks were good! We could see the ocean from our room.」

「I got to the room at 10 pm and it had never been serviced. Bathroom towels on the floor, bed sheets all over the place. But this is not a hotel, really, but a room in some building far away from where you check in. I cancelled the second night and nobody has every called back, or apologized, or credited me with this horrible experience.」

「Our stay at The Inn at Old Harbor was wonderful. My partner doesn’t love walking and They have their own stair case from the ferry parking lot. Within minutes we had picked up our keys at their sweatshirt store and had our feet up on our private balcony which made for great people watching and a cool breeze. Room 3 on the second floor had a king size bed and great light at sunrise. We could see the Newport Bridge! It was clean and comfortable We are coming back for Columbus Day weekend」

「The man at the front desk just handed me a key. He did not say anything about the breakfast, gym or dock on the salt pond. Another guest told us about the breakfast. It was the May long weekend and neither the pool or hot tub were open. Or maybe they were open but I couldn’t understand the man cleaning the pool! The pool is not heated and hot tub was cold. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a bar fridge and microwave but no coffee maker . The bathroom was dated with poor...

「It was just perfect! I only have one complaint, I rented this particular room with a door opening outside on the porch to be able to smoke. They still wouldn't allow any smoking outside your door. Unfortunately it rained out entire stay with no where dry to smoke. I understand , but for us smokers it wasn't pleasant. But it is very clean and well maintained with a lot of nice amenities!」
