"New upgrades led to cheap purchases. Upon arrival, sink immediately filled and clogged to which the maintenance staff already knew due to remodel. Space was clean. Bathroom was real tight."

"My sister and I stayed 2 nights and found the room to be pretty perfect for our needs. If you are looking for resorty, don’t stay here. It was basic, but very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the heat/ac worked well. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to do. Our cons would be that the TV was tiny by most lodging standards, and far away, so hard to see and hear. That said, we weren’t really there to watch tv. The shower had great pressure and temp, but the curtain was hung too high, and so the floor became quite wet when anyone showered, This really is a great little spot, and with a little attention to the exterior and livening up the front (I would pull out everything except the Japanese maple and put in low bushes and flowers) this little place could be great. It really has everything going for it, not least of which is its proximity to a most amazing farm to table breakfast/lunch place called Karie’s. Skip the coffee in your room and head across the parking lot for great brew and baked goods. Great outdoor seating included. We will definitely return to both of these spots."

"Nice place to stay—would return! A short drive to Newport, so best for those who are okay with (or prefer) not being right in the middle of everything. The room was clean and comfortable, and there are some cool seating areas outside of the lobby. The front desk staff was very warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The curb appeal is not great and had us second guessing our booking, but the inside is a completely different story, and I got the impression the exterior is being renovated soon—don't let it scare you off! My only complaint is that the breakfast was subpar for a paid breakfast and the restaurant staff weren't great. The server wasn't very attentive and the staff stood around chatting about their favorite shots and cocktails the whole time we ate. The kitchen staff was playing music loudly that clashed with the music playing through the restaurant speakers. So definitely stay at the hotel but don't do the breakfast package—just go out for breakfast and you'll have a great stay!"

"For the cost of the hotel, we were pretty disappointed. We expected better service throughout the weekend I had called 3x to confirm that a crib will be in our room upon our arrival as we were going to be there close to our son’s bedtime. I called to confirm on our way to the hotel as well, and they said it was already there. Going to our room, it was not and it took close to an hour to get one, throwing our sons entire bedtime off. Later that evening, I asked front desk for a blanket I could sit outside with. They said they would bring it out, over an hour later and a few follow ups no one showed up. I had also asked someone to turn the fire pit on so I could enjoy sitting outside, and again no one assisted. Overall, it was a pleasant weekend but we were disappointed in the service."

"Was unaware that the hotel would be under construction upon our stay so the lobby was pretty loud when we got there. The room was clean and good enough for our weekend stay. Not sure if it was because of renovations or not but there was only coffee in the mornings."

"We arrived late in the evening in anticipation for my son's graduation from URI the following morning. We checked in and headed right to the room as we were exhausted from our journey. The room was spotless, the beds were pristine and comfy. We quickly put on our pjs and went to brush our teeth before heading to bed when we realized we forgot our toothpaste!! Aaaaahhhh! I went to the front desk and they did not have any but the gentleman popped out to the local store to get some for us. I said it was completely unnecessary, but five minutes later, they came to the room with a new tube of toothpaste. They went out of their way to make sure our trip was pleasant. I appreciate the extra effort on their part. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!"
