Very pleasant two day stay. Keith was very knowledgeable, provided suggestions on just about everything we asked. Very convenient, and safe parking. Our room was very clean, had everything we needed. Breakfast choices very appropriate for a B&B

We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was perfect for our wishes and needs. The furnishings were nice, the bathroom was well-designed, the ambiance of the Inn was great. The ventilation system was loud, but worked well.

Close proximity to pretty much everything in the area. the male working the front desk (sorry I forgot the name!) was fabulous, welcoming, attentive and answered all questions with a smile!

Room had no decor, scratches on furniture. There is no sound barrier. You can hear everything that is happening in the hallway and rooms next to you. Toilet was dirty and dust on the trim.

When we arrived they have ample free parking, the house in the outside it’s beautiful and looks so historic. The staff were nice and very welcoming. It has a patio, living area, a work area with computer, the room was very clean and it was a very peaceful and quiet stay… they have coffee, hot chocolate and tea available for self serve 24 hours a day. Free continental breakfast. I will definitely stay there again. I rate this place 5/5

We stayed at the Carriage House Inn in Newport and felt like we got a great deal....likely because we booked the day before. We arrived on a Friday night around 9pm and were greeted by a very kind staff member at the door, which set a nice tone right away. The room was absolutely worth the price. This is a historic house, and you can feel that charm throughout... it’s one of the older homes in Newport, but in a good way. Our room was simple and comfortable with a king bed, private bathroom, microwave, mini fridge, and a TV that worked perfectly. Everything we needed for a one-night stay. The location was ideal and made it easy to walk or quickly get where we wanted to go. Staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. We didn’t try breakfast because we had plans to line up early elsewhere for cinnamon rolls, but this spot was perfect for waking up, heading out, and starting the day. If you’re looking for a well-priced, well-located place with historic character, this was a solid choice.

The room was fine however the website stated that the Presidential Suites came with Bathrobes, but we were told they no longer provided them, Distance from the Newport Mansions and attraction were very misleading, The website is very misleading and not accurate, If I had known I would of stayed somewhere closer to the Mansions and the Waterfront for less money, Staff was wonderful, and the Inn was quaint and very nice.

This was really the nicest place I have stayed! As soon as you walk in you were welcomed and the main entrance beautiful! The area where the tables are to eat breakfast was unbelievably nice and dressed up for the Holidays! Also, the Front Desk so friendly, Dominic and Jannea and Jannea Housekeeping Manager doing a fantastic job and gal taking care of breakfast an absolute treasure always making sure coffee pot is filled and food is there! Room fantastic and pillows and bedding lucious!!! Thank all of you!!!

My room was overbooked by Expedia. They sent me to another hotel with the same owner. It’s 2 5 minutes away. The room from the other hotel is okay but they don’t have free breakfast. I have to go back to this hotel to have breakfast. Also the VIP would get one complementary drink per guest. But they only give me the voucher buy one get one for free drink at their restaurant. Attached is the voucher.
