「We had a great stay at the Tavern. One of the reasons we booked was because of the breakfast at la Crema. We were a little dissappointed that our Easter breakfast basket did not have any pastries from la crema. The staff was great as well as we left something behind and appreciated that they found the item and left it at the front desk. We actually like staying at the Tavern rather than Sedona-the shops are quaint and the restaurants are much better than Sedona!」

「Located on a hill in an old mining town called Jerome this hotel is like stepping back in time. It’s above the Clinkscale Restaurant (which I highly recommend!). Once you check in (inside the restaurant), there is a separate entrance to the upstair rooms. Open the door and immediately feel transported to another era (no elevator here); but the staff will gladly assist you with your luggage. 「The kitchen was well equipped, beds and room were clean and spacious, and just loved the free night events that were taking place while we were there. The slideshow by a local talented photographer was amazing! The only small issue was location of the bathroom. It was just annoying to get to with the bathroom door blocking its entrance.」

We loved the convenience of the location being only a short drive (about 25 minutes and no traffic) to Uptown Sedona. 「Check in was a nightmare. Waited 1/2 hr to even get to the desk. I had reserved 2 places for our family of 7 members months in advance. We were separated roads apart. They cared less about trying to put us together. Ashley at the front desk was rude and abrupt. No directions on the place - so we didn’t know our second bedroom was across a “bridge”… they try selling you a timeshare type thing that delays you even more - have to wait to talk to them to get your parking pass. Not a good experience...
