「On opening our room door my wife and I thought nice, however after a while we decided it was not as nice as we thought, lots of cobwebs and cracks in the walls a refurbished is needed. We both had little sleep as in the early hours of the night we heard loud drilling noise as if someone was working nearby. The breakfast was nothing to write home about everything was put on the plate so your toast became soggy and only the middle was buttered, service was poor.」

「We got moved room at midnight, and had to move all of our belongings because the power in our room wasn't working, which was an issue the desk knew about when they gave us the room. Then, when I attempted to get a refund on the room for the night, we were offered free breakfast, but the lady on the desk was desperate to haggle down the number of days we got it for. Just felt very cheap and really made us not enjoy the stay.」

「Mixed reviews overall, my room was generally pretty clean however, I found a hair in the bathroom that definitely wasn't mine as it was about 6 inches long onnthe tiles of the shower, the window didnt stay open without wedging something underneath it, decor was tired and the TV was no bigger than a PC monitor and looked lost on the wall and wasnt vaguely visible from the bed and everytime the fridge in the room clicked on and off it turned the TV off and on again (annoying to say the least). 「It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely.

「Terrible experience neighbour knocking on thin walls no tv or music but still caused upset in stay as walked into room once knocked door and asked when leaving hotel?
