"Clean room. New bathroom "

"We visited the area to take Fall color photos. I ran across this beautiful lodge and booked a room. The room was very big! The view was lovely. The beds were comfy and the bed linens were snowy white and very easy on my sensitive skin. I was surprised that the pool was open all night (adults only during those hours!) And there was a fire pit going all night too! It was a weeknight and I hoped they might bring our biscuits and gravy,but sadly, no. I read that sometimes they do bring in some hot breakfast items. They did have waffles you could make though and my husband did that. Their granola was delish! I spied the boiled eggs and that was the only negative… Ibit into it and chewed and found they had missed some shell. Yuck! That threw off my appetite. But, it was the only negative of the trip. Next time, I will inspect more closely! The big gathering room was inviting!! A lovely fire was going, the weather was rainy and foggy much of the time. We will definitely want to stay there again!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Here are a few photos of the grounds. We stayed in late October 2025. There were lots of things in the lodge for anyone who likes to play games and such, but we are retired people. We didn’t check those out but they sounded like fun things to explore. kayaks were available for our use too. "

"Beautiful flowers, beachfront, and view of the Macinac Bridge. Rooms were nice, clean, and updated with a balcony on the beach. Sufficient parking, proximity to downtown, and a hot breakfast."

"The hotel served our needs. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did not go to breakfast. The staff is not the friendliest. Overall, we would stay here again. It is close proximity to town and the ferry. "

"Haven’t had breakfast yet. Check in was a great surprise. We arrived early for check in and room wasn’t ready, so rather than asking us to wait they found a room that was available which actually was a better room and they updated us. We are so happy and impressed. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience "

"Staying at The Perry is like taking a step back in history! Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff and great breakfasts right in the hotel! There is a lot to do within walking distance or a short car ride away! I highly recommend! "
