「We stayed three days and it was a fine hotel for the price. We could have stayed down the road at the $362 per night place, but that was out of the question, budget-wise. This place was responsive to requests and even allowed us to switch to a more accessible room. Parking was good, the rooms were OK - considering the age of the building. Maintenance is an issue there, but again, considering the age of the building, they are trying to keep up.」

「We really enjoyed our week-long stay in this charming motel. The owner is very responsive to needs and the room was great. Nicely decorated, very convenient, lots of parking, near to many attractions in the area. The bed was comfortable, the room is air conditioned and very nice.」

「This place deserved five stars not because it was like the Ritz-Carlton, but rather because it delivered what it promised. The room was spacious and clean; the staff was very friendly and helpful; the price was reasonable; the breakfast was good; and the place was in a convenient location. If I was in that area again, or driving through it, I would certainly stay again. 」

「Loved the location. The Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac City Lighthouse Park are across the street. Great restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The facility is older but was comfortable.」

「Clean rooms. Good breakfast. The laundry facilities were very clean and much appreciated! Three dollars for wash and three dollars to dry. I would definitely stay there again as it’s a great location and a very reasonable price for what you get. 」

「I would go back to this hotel, maybe other hotels have a better view or are newer, but you can't beat the price. The breakfast could improve a little, if all you need to sleep, this hotel is ok, I really didn't try any of the amenities, but every thing is driving distend, there is a supermarket across the street.」
