"The property itself was stunning. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The entire hotel was clean and well kept. The room was beautiful. The area around the hotel was rough. Construction everywhere and the homeless population was to the extent it felt unsafe to walk around. We witnessed a women drop her pants and defecate right out front in between two cars. Again properly beautiful but just watch your surroundings when not on the property itself. "

"Had a great stay! Buena Vista Cafe across the street had the best Irish coffee. So close to Ghirardelli square and pier 39. And the cable car turn about is just steps away. Room was comfortable and clean. "
