"Hotel grounds, location, staff, pool, gym and room was top notch. Would highly recommend!"

"The breakfast was decent, but I chose this hotel because it presents itself as family-friendly and it lacked some basic things.**There were no high chairs for babies in the breakfast area, even though many families were staying there and all the babies had to sit on their parents’ laps. Also, I didn’t agree with the extra parking fee. In a place like Santa Cruz where parking is limited, it feels unnecessary to charge guests for parking when the hotel already has its own spaces. It would make more sense to include it in the room rate."

"Close the Catalyst, which was the reason for our stay in Santa Cruz. Very clean, well-taken care of property, but the ice machine did not work. Other than that, the stay was great."
