"We loved Dream Villa! It is a beautiful building right in the middle of Galle- you cannot ask for a better location! The room was great, big comfy bed and good a/c. Service was great (we checked in with a young guy who did not speak a lot of English but he was so nice and helpful) and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Dream Villa!"

"I appreciated the walking distance to the beach as well as staff that is just amazing! Also, the location is perfect as it is close to the beach but not right on the beach where the most of the bars and restaurants are located, while distant enough from the main road. Breakfast is nice and served with great attention by the staff that is friendly and professional despite long working hours ( most of them were there the whole day). "

"It’s a very nice place with a great view over the beach, the location is amazing. Next to the hotel there’s a lot of restaurants and shops as well as a massage place for relaxation. Kumara the owner was very friendly he followed up on WhatsApp until we arrived and got our rooms. The rooms are simple but comfortable. I highly recommend it in Mirissa."

"This is an outstanding property, the location is fantastic for seeing the old city. The staff are among out top 3 of all our years of travel. They go out of their way to make a holiday the best it can be. We will definitely return snd stay here in the future. "

"Great hotel in Mirissa which was very close to the beach (you do have to walk there or take a <5 minute tuktuk ride). The pool was beautiful and clean. Good breakfast in the morning. Would stay there again!"

"Possibly the smallest room Ive ever stayed in. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was old and in poor shape, stained lampshade on the tiny desk. Glass door to bathroom so all light flooded thru there. Curtains did not meet in the middle in the bedroom. Bathroom was designed as a wet room, no shower curtain, awkward tiny 1cm "step" between toilet and shower. Kept falling over it. Windows and glass shelf in bathroom were very dirty. Tiled floor in bathroom very slippery when wet no mat provided....

"The staff here are very helpful and kind. The property does not have a restaurant. The rooms smell of damp as do pillows and mattress. I asked for a blanket and got a bedsheet!! I had to ask for a mosquito net. Over priced for a tired hotel. Near the beach but no views only grotty tin roofs and a huge dirty wall of the hotel next door that blocks out any light. Internet is bad and they have power cuts all the time. Disappointing. "

"Excellent location and beautiful pool, stayed in deluxe room and had no issues, wifi even worked in the room because we were so close to the pool. We were on half board so had are breakfasts and dinners there, buffet style nothing special just good food. The location can not be beat right on the beach in prime position "

"Here is only one positive thing about this hostel is rooftop restaurant and amazing guys and ladies who work there. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO BOOK THIS HOSTEL. And you don’t have to be the hostel’s guest to be able to visit this cool rooftop. Everyone is welcome. I had a private room which was located on first (=ground floor). "Srimali's Residence has plenty of potential but it's the small things the owners need to look at. On the positive side, the rooms are big, as are the bathrooms, the location is fine, ten minutes walk to the beach and a couple of minutes to the bus stop into Galle, pleasant surroundings with the occasional monkey sighting and plenty of stripy squirrels. Breakfast was OK and the family friendly. When we arrived only two of our three rooms had a towel. Safes were on the tables but not secured so...

"Basic guesthouse right by the fort wall and close to everything in Galle fort. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. It could do with a lick of paint and refurbishment which were make it a much nicer place to stay."

"Fabulous find! This boutique style hotel only opened a couple months ago and they’ve done everything just right! We loved our stay here, the rooms are contemporary yet still with classic touches of the local styles, they are spacious and clean, and the hotel is in such a great position to explore the fort area. "This house is virtually a step away from the sea and it feels like you have your very own small, private beach. A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc.. "It is a walkable distance from The Galle Central Bus station to the property, probably 10 to 15 minutes walk. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The place is cosy and comfortable."

"Room was small and dark, described as a one bedroom but it was a studio. Common areas were nicely decorated. Restaurant was good and breakfast was included and had lots of options. Hotel did not advise they did not accept credit and then staff became annoyed when we took too long to find a bank machine. Probably better suited for single people and couples rather than families."
