「Everything was fine in this rustic costaricain house. The communication with owner was excellent and directions were very clear. And we felt very safe. Even if its a Little bit old We would recommande this place」

「Staff were terrific and the place was clean. Very convenient that our room had a fridge. It would have been a nice touch if was plugged in in anticipation of our stay. Breakfast was good but similar comment to most of my hotel stays in Costa Rica, it would be nice if it started earlier or at least coffee was available earlier than 7am. Many people were going on early morning excursions which meant not being able to take advantage of breakfast. 」

「首先，网上说的很吵闹并不觉得，可能是我拿到了一个二楼的房间（15）。wifi信号别的地方不错，这15房间里挺差劲的。另外，他并不提供牙刷牙膏。总体上来说不错，旅游区嘛价格也不是离谱。另外二楼阳台的景色不错，日落的时候等天气凉快一点，可以坐在沙发上看太阳从火山边上落下来，除了面前有几根电线挡住了视线。」

「Our little lodge was so romantic and cozy. Flush with the natural flora. We saw hummingbirds and parrots daily from our balcony. Daily included breakfast was delicious. Convenient to our excursions, shoppings, and restaurants. Highly recommend. 」

「We loved it here! Wonderful pool for the kids, tasty breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and loved seeing the volcano in the afternoon once the clouds cleared a bit. The front desk guy even brought me over to see a mama sloth with her baby that was spotted on the grounds. Loved! Would definitely recommend!」

「Great stay for 6 days nights. Great friendly staff and the food and beer are solid. Fabalous view of lake arenal. The grounds are hilly and steep in some places, but couple of very nice trails. Lots of animals: dogs, cows, goats etc which for me is always welcome. The owner J.P. is a riot and great to talk to. Wealth of knowledge about the area and Costa Rica in general. 」

「We enjoyed our stay at Monte Real. It was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere to return to after a day of adventure. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of the restaurant, beside the river that runs behind the property. Staff were very friendly and professional. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in La Fortuna at a reasonable price. 」

「Room had no hot water. Staff came to fix it and walked all over our room with muddy shoes. Fixing it took a long time. In the morning we went to shower and once again no hot water. What a disappointing experience 」
