「I got a single at Garden House and paid for the pick-up service from the airport. As a solo female traveler, I was nervous about staying here by myself, but everything was great! 「Great location, just next to SJO airport (so airplanes flying by on top, but not during the night) and supermarket, with gated parking lot. Owner is friendly and easy to communicate. 2BR with small equipped kitchen and living room. 」

「Very pleasant stay, everything works well. Jorge is very helpful and able to arrange even with trips. He provides informations about the area, Alajuela, history and recommendations. Nicely organized place, all rooms are on ground floor, very safe and secured. It is very walkable and you can observe the nice and charming downtown of Alajuela. Close to the airport, since Juan Santamaría airport is located in Alajuela. Definitely stay here next time.」

「Staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We got a free ride from SJO airport to the hotel which was a short 10 min ride. The rooms are small and have very basic necessities, table fan (NO AC), and an assembled wardrobe to hang your clothes. The breakfast was decent with local delicacies like platanos, casado, fruits, juices and local coffee. A decent place to stay if you want a quick rest before a long drive within Costa Rica or flight back home. If you need comfort of an AC, large space...

「Superzimmer, sauber, toll ausgestattet (Küche, Bad, Klimaanlage), für unseren Bedarf mehr als ausreichend. Allerdings war es schwierig zu finden da wir zum ersten Mal in Costa Rica waren und nachts angekommen sind. Der Taxifahrer wusste zu helfen. Gerne wieder.」

「This hotel was such a gem for our final night in Costa Rica. The restaurant served delicious and fresh food (veggies were from their garden). The staff was very attentive and the shuttle to the airport left promptly in the morning. We'll definitely be coming back on our next trip.」

「They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!」
