The hot tub did not work initially but after informing them, they fixed it fast. The breakfast left more to be desired. It was kind of skimpy unless you got the rice and beans. They didn't give us a menu for the first two mornings even though we asked for one. Then we randomly got menus the next two mornings.. weird. The beds were a little hard but not terrible. They do not give you clean sheets or bath towels if they come clean your room. My son split a little chocolate on his sheets and they just turned the fitted sheet 180 degrees. Beautiful view and nice people. The AC worked but didn't get all the humidity of the room because the window in the bathroom only had a screen on it. Was beautiful but happy to move on to our next place.

I stayed here three nights with my mom and had the most relaxing stay. The breakfast was good and the restaurant has a really nice view of the lake. The 25-30min drive from La Fortuna is worth it. We loved our stay and enjoyed the view. We watched the sunset from the pool. Just breathtaking view of lake Arenal and the Volcano. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Beautiful and peaceful property with a stunning view of the volcano and lake. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice to be away from the bustle of La Fortuna, but still within reasonable driving distance of attractions in the area. Highly recommend.

Le déjeuner et la piscine était parfait, j’aurais aimé un mini-réfrigérateur dans la chambre à coucher, d’autant plus que la chambre était grande et spacieuse et il y aurait eu de la place pour un mini-refrigwrateur, raison pour lequel j’ai mis 4 étoiles au lieu de 5 pour la catégorie des « commodité »

Our experience at Hotel Lina Vista was disappointing due to inconsistent communication from staff and the way we were treated during our stay. We originally booked a room for three people because we didn’t know my sister and niece would be joining the trip. When we later found out they were coming, we contacted the hotel to see if they had additional availability, but we were told they were fully booked, so they stayed at another hotel nearby. At check-in, we explained the situation and asked if they could briefly visit since we were traveling together as a family. The staff member told us it was fine and that they did not need wristbands. I even offered to pay for wristbands if needed, but was told it wasn’t possible because the room was limited to 3 guests. The next morning, while we were having breakfast, another staff member began questioning my sister about not having a wristband. Later, when she briefly went to the room to retrieve a portable battery pack I had forgotten, she was confronted again. When we returned later that day, a staff member came to our car, checked the license plate, and then questioned my mom about why my niece did not have a wristband. At that point we were suddenly told we could pay about $30 for wristbands. The constant questioning and monitoring made us feel uncomfortable & unwelcome. We understand hotels must enforce policies, but the mixed messages and the way the situation was handled made what should have been a relaxing stay feel stressful

The room was clean. The Staff were delightful. The pool was clean. The menu was good. The breakfast was traditional. If the weather was warmer perhaps the swim up bar would be open. More signage heading to Hotel Linda would make it much easier to get to. Signs at the hotel were very faded

This place is heavenly. If you’re looking for some peace, serenity and breathtaking views… this is the place! I had an incredible view of the lake and volcano from my room. Pool and hot tub were nice. Calm crowd. The complimentary hot breakfast was also yummy. Drive to downtown La Fortuna is about 30 minutes and not bad at all.
