「Nice hotel, very quiet area. Good location with easy access to cenotes and other day trips. It was windy so we didn't get to snorkel or kayak in front of the hotel, but I'm guessing it's nice to do that when the weather is calmer. We did see turtles by the dock. Staff was super nice. 」

「This is a small, simple, elegant hotel, very well cared for by a devoted team. Casa Altamar has personality, nice design, beautiful wood finishing/furniture, woven rugs and lampshades, it feels connected to the location. The place is spotless, rooms are cleaned every day. The landscaping is naturalistic and very well done, exotic flowers and palms moving in the breeze. It’s also very functional, the windows have insect screens, it’s air conditioned, there’s a place to wash off sand by the doors....

「We loved this property! It is small and intimate and a nice escape from the crowds. No issues getting loungers on the beach and at times, we were one of the only groups out there. Every meal in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Our room was stunning. But the friendly staff are what truly made us feel at home. Would love to go back!」

「Jesus was the highlight of the facilities. Great attitude, always helpful and friendly. Hotel was nice and had good AC, hot water and good views. Not many restaurants around, Umbal the restaurant at the hotel was decent for the price, BSKY was terrible at the sister hotel Mereva, steer clear of that place, Icaro at Bespoke was phenomenal! Really such good quality and service for a similar price point. We had massages at the hotel which were good. There is construction next door so weekdays were...
