「We had a Wednesday through Saturday stay in mid April. The hotel is located at the Surfside Pier as is convenient to several restaurants. We were in a double queen room with a balcony and ocean view. The room was slightly small but was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful if a little scarce. This was our third stay at Surfside and we have never been disappointed.」

「I have stayed here last year and that room was clean. I stayed this year and stayed in room 301 which wasn’t that clean. The toilet flap was broke and the toilet bowl wasn’t that clean and the shower had black hair in the drain. Has a great balcony view though and The Salty Pickle is the next building over for some great food and a bar. I would stay again even though this trip wasn’t as clean as before. 」

「We had a late check in around 10pm, the staff is so friendly once we walked in the hotel. This Hampton has rated the best Hampton in the nation for the past 5 years and I totally agree with the rating. The room is clean and big, the morning breakfast area is very comfortable (the food are ok). Basically it's a great hotel. The only 2 downsides are: (1) sound proof not too good (2) the pool is really tiny But it is a great stay, except for the price is a little high (we paide US$220 per night)」

「This is definitely a seasonal hotel as they don't have an indoor pool. Although the outdoor pool is heated, we were still cold getting out of the pool going to our room. The staff was excellent and very helpful. However like most cleaning staff at any hotel, they don't pay attention to detail as they are trying to turn over rooms quickly. Our ironing board was visibly broken as it only had one leg. And both hair dryers were not available for use; one was broken and one had additional items in...

「The view was great and it’s right on the beach. The waterslides were NOT open for spring break, just on weekends. Having water slides all week was one of the reasons we chose this resort specifically and we were disappointed. Not a lot of dining options but the ones that were there were really good. Enjoyed the free mini golf course and free pier access. Seemed like at less half the days there was an elevator out of service for an hour or two so sometimes we had to walk around to alternating...
