"We stayed in a small 1 BD cottage. Although small, it had everything we needed. We loved the front porch with rocking chairs. The pool at the inn is exceptionally clean and the beach and boardwalk are within 5 minutes of walking. They even provided us with umbrella, chair and beach toys. Would stay again."

Wonderful Resort for Families!
This resort was beautiful and very clean. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants. We loved that there were both indoor and outdoor pools, and the free ice on the property was a nice bonus!
The staff truly made our stay even better. Everyone was friendly and helpful—especially Bianca at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing!
The only downside was the pull-out couch, which wasn’t very sturdy and could definitely use an upgrade. To be fair, we didn’t report it during our stay, so the staff wasn’t aware.
Overall, it was a fantastic spot for our family reunion weekend. Lots to do for kids and a great place to relax. We will definitely be back!

"This hotel is older but well-maintained and in a GREAT location to visit family staying at one of the nearby RV parks! Access was very easy and parking super convenient. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the property is kept clean and tidy. It is definitely not a quiet retreat, with kids and families bustling about at all hours, but that's about what we expected at Myrtle Beach and it was not an issue for us.
Housekeeping was attentive and thoughtful and carefully retrieved a lost piece of jewelry from the shower floor and placed on our nightstand, and also left trash bags for our leftover pizza.
The only issues with our stay were minor: a broken bathroom exhaust fan left entire room humid and warm for hours after anyone took a shower, and the desk lamp bulb was burned out, making it difficult to navigate the room after one traveler went to bed, since other lights are very bright. Overall, a great deal and would stay again!"
"Me and my family had a wonderful getaway. Crown Reef resort is a must if you have kids. The pools/splash pad is worth staying here, your kids will love it. The property is very clean and our room was spotless when we arrived. The only thing I would say that needs improving is the room is always warm. You’ll want to have a fan during your stay. But overall we would definitely stay here again. "
"While the property itself is fairly aged and no amount of paint can hide that, overall it is still a very comfortable stay for us. Having direct access to the beach AND literally walk out the door to the pool was a big plus. The one of the biggest drawback is simply how loud the AC unit was, specially if you keep it running through the night to keep the humidty down. I think had they opt'd to replace all the units with mini-split when it was renovated, they would've gotten better energy efficiency in the long run and also offers guests a better experience."
